Mark Cuban gets off light today because its Sunday and my cousin Navy Chaplain Lt. Joe Coffey, of Philadelphia Chaplin of the Year on the USS George Washington The Norfolk, Va.-based nuclear-powered aircraft carrier back from deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Persian Gulf is in town. It was a surprise to bump into him at 7am mass in Avalon. Joe talks about his service and the spiritual needs of the Sailors. Safety on the flight deck. How can a priest be a Chaplin at war? Can you call your self a Catholic if you don’t go to church? Day to day goings on and some other discussions. Talk about the late Pope John Paul II and the New Pope Benedict XVI. My cousin Jimmy was on a flight to Rome the day the Pope died. World Youth Day in Cologne Germany this August. New duty at the Coast Guard Station Cape May boot camp.
Show time about 15min.
Andrew, thanks for the interview. It was fun. I’m learning a whole new world with podcasting. You can teach an old dog new tricks. God bless. Joe
