I could not think of show tonight because I just got back to Dallas. I don’t know much but I know Im passionate about many things music people and relationships. I just could not put them to words. So much going on at Exit50 and not everyone is passionate about the same things This Podcast is about being passionate about music. Just one song. Mark Cuban gets off light today because its Sunday and my cousin Navy Chaplain Lt. Joe Coffey, of Philadelphia Chaplin of the Year on the USS George Washington The Norfolk, Va.-based nuclear-powered aircraft carrier back from deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Persian Gulf is in town. It was a surprise to bump into him at 7am mass in Avalon. Joe talks about his service and the spiritual needs of the Sailors. Safety on the flight deck. How can a priest be a Chaplin at war? Took a walk on the beach at sunrise in Avalon New Jersey Exit13. Capture the crunchy sand under my feet after a rain storm. Why Sunrises verses Sunsets. I got to Live8 early around 3am and hung out with the “utes” of America. Part of the charge to the front of what was not really the front of the stage for Live8. All animals are equal except more equal then others. There were two levels of VIP. The space was cramped and it was fun to endure the morning of waiting with the people around me. A big shout out to the people in that front row section and for helping wave the exit50 flag. Everyone was really cool and we mad fun of nearly everyone that went by in front of us. To pass the time we started to scream out famous names of the people walking by. Example if they Had Dread locks we would scream “Hey Bob Marley” and so on. The Mayor John Street was on a Police bike in the morning for the prop shot with the million cameras. The media were asking softball questions to the front row. Not one person except the dude next to me could name “One” country that would benefit from the 40 billion in debt relief. It was my chance to scream at the reporters from my LIVE8 cage. The show was Jive and the feed went back to London where it was repackaged and resold.(Philadelphia was pimped out) That’s cool I just wasn’t going to be part of “Sir Bobs Pageant” Its cool that he recognizes Bush’s commitment to Africa and I did not see any protesters. However the VH1 production was rife with innuendo with the continuing video of the Seattle protesters getting there ass kicked and in London the G8 members were in the background. Lets “highlight” the leaders of these countries that are getting debt relief” Jayz’ and Lincoln Park set rocked “Big Pimpin” props go out but the dig on spending billions on killing people verses saving them again just prove the disconnect on real information about a given Issue. VH1 WTF Moment cutting off Stevie Wonder??? I rant on. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE COOL PEOPLE THERE EARLY…Hopefully you will see you ugly mug in the snaps I took.
