Today I interview Maria Bartiromo from CNBC. We talked about the song Joey Ramone wrote for her and meeting with Prince. I have Mark Burnett talking about his new show called Gold Rush that premiers in September. Met them at a Global Conference in Los Angles. I play a few tunes

  1. Its about time you put up a show. This show is classic. How on earth did you get her to talk about Joey Ramone? Your a nut job!!!

  2. Lil Bro, like did you mention that I turned you on to the Ramones in 1977? I wonder if Joey was influenced by his nemisis Johnny “Mr Conservative” Ramone when it came to financial planning.

  4. Nice piece AC. Love MB, love JR, love Prince, and you flow so much better without the super editing. You talk about the plethora of personas you encountered, from Mark B to people concerned about other wordly issues (other than finance), I hope you were left with the realization that business AND compassion can combine for a swallowable cocktail. I have a deep rooted suspicion there is a softie hidden within you. hehe.
PS, true story: my Grandma met Prince. She’s taller than he is….

  7. Im not getting this whole message board. I thought the “Mark Burnett Gold Rush show was cool. I did a google search on the show and found this article

I like this line and how online communities will form around this show.
“Say you’re in New York and you believe the gold is in Memphis,” he said. “You need to connect with people in Memphis.
