As mayor of a small town in south Texas I've witnessed firsthand what this issue can do to a family. I'm glad that there are pioneers like Mr.Coffee that can bring this issue to the spotlight. Readership of many of the country's largest daily newspapers is down significantly. Many of us are going to outlets like this for real news. It's time that families took this issue to heart. Whatever it takes to help law enforcement help children, I'm all for!

I'm slowly but surely putting down the paper and tuning in to outlets like this exit 50. What does exit 50 mean anyway?

Go TFSC!

Being the Queen of Swag, this story peaked my curiosity and I researched the DNA kits. Fingerprints America is an ASI supplier (ASI 54284), one of only two that I could find. Such a small number of suppliers almost gurantees that companies wanting to use this marketing technique (and make note, it is a marketing strategy!) will purchase through them. What a nice niche in the ad specialties industry. And how fortunate that the MOST expensive kit they offer is $2.35 (least is $1.22) . That means that for about the same cost as a full color quality direct mail piece, Fox (or any company) gets to look like the champion of kids safety. I would be willing to bet that not even the sweat bands in the boxing ring are that inexpensive. Which brings me to the white collar boxing tripe. First of all, boxing is not and will never be a “white collar” sport, I don’t care how white you are and whether or not you have enough money to bet your paycheck against dork number two who sits three cubicles over. Boxing is absolute physical endurance, sweat of the brow; such words are oxymoron to the term white collar. My suggestion is this: let all the single parents in Carrollton who struggle to pay their bills much less devise future financial plans come over to the Fox Financial boxing ring. If Fox wants to help the children, they can stand by and babysit while the parents work out their aggression punching Fox employees. Send the kiddies and folks home with a $2.35 DNA kit, and everybody is happy. Yay, yay… and there was much rejoicing.
