Mingling with Muslims again at the Mosque in Irving for MN1
Hello Friends of Exit50,
Sorry it’s been so long since I have posted to this blog. I have been busy working on a new site called MN1.com Its like a mini CNBC with Sports and Entertainment. We have gone from 4 people to 40 in less then 4 months and needless to say I have been very busy. The Video above is the first report I have done on the road. Normally I am on live during market hours 9am till 12pm CST During that time I interview CEOs and interesting business people. We have a live call ins. Its going to get even bigger when we start to stream the programming over the cell phones. I will try and keep up interesting content on this site as well. I’m sure I will have lots to talk about in the months to come.
Enjoy

Dru baby! It was very thoughtful of you and the people you interviewed to break down some barriers. Sometimes I have gotten myself caught up in the fear of what is going on in the Middle East that I forget about alll Americas including Muslim Americans. They are nice people you met, who want to live in paece in our free society. I hope the Muslims in your communtiy as well as the rest of the U.S speal out about what is right and wrong about their faith, just as American Catholics may have been critical of the Pope on handlng certain issues. We have only ourselves to police.

Tim,
The folks I met at the Mosque were not only friendly but welcoming and gave me full access. I don’t recall seeing many of these types of reports from inside the Dome on Sept 11th. What struck me is the diverse group of nations gathered. Moroccan. Sudan, India. Somali, Pakistan and just too many to name. The outrage over the Popes comments should be the start of the dialogue. “Spreading the faith through violence is something unreasonable”, and whoever would lead someone to faith needs the ability to speak well and to reason properly, without violence and threats”
Below is what was said:

“Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”He then explained the emperor’s argument that “spreading the faith through violence is something unreasonable”, that “violence is incompatible with the nature of God”, and that “whoever would lead someone to faith needs the ability to speak well and to reason properly, without violence and threats”.
